Deputy Membership Chair

  • Assist the Chair of Membership in developing and implementing membership recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Facilitate the organization and managing of membership recruitment events and outreach initiatives.
  • Maintain an up-to-date membership database, tracking member participation and engagement.
  • Address member queries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring a positive membership experience.
  • Collaborate with other deputy roles and officers to ensure member needs are met across all SEN activities.
  • Step in and lead membership initiatives in the absence of the Chair of Membership.

Deputy Club Ambassador

  • Serve as a face and voice for SEN.
  • Engage with students, faculty, and potential partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials.
  • Gather feedback from the community.

Deputy Digital Engagement Specialist

  • Engage with the online community via digital channels (instagram, discord).
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer.
  • Monitor online discussions and trends.
  • Help create content and manage SEN’s social media presence (with an emphasis on Instagram and LinkedIn), creating content, scheduling posts, and responding to messages and comments.

Deputy Outreach Coordinator

  • Identify partnerships with other clubs and departments.
  • Organize joint events or campaigns.
  • Represent SEN at university-wide events.

Deputy Campus Representative

  • Represent SEN in different departments.
  • Organize department-specific events or workshops.
  • Distribute SEN promotional materials.

Deputy Community Liaison

  • Foster relationships with local businesses and community groups.
  • Organize community outreach events.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Relations and Sponsorship Officer.

Deputy Compliance Officer

  • Assist the VP of Operations in ensuring SEN’s compliance with university regulations and policies.
  • Stay updated on any changes to university policies that may affect SEN’s operations.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of SEN’s activities to identify any areas of non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with other officers and deputies to address and rectify any compliance issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to SEN members on compliance-related matters.
  • Step in and oversee compliance initiatives in the absence of the VP of Operations.

Deputy Secretary

  • Support the VP of Operations in maintaining accurate records of all SEN meetings and activities.
  • Assist in preparing meeting agendas and distributing them to relevant members in advance.
  • Take detailed minutes during meetings and ensure they are accessible to all SEN members.
  • Manage internal communications, ensuring all members are informed of upcoming events, initiatives, and updates.
  • Organize and maintain SEN’s digital and physical documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
  • Step in and handle secretarial duties in the absence of the VP of Operations.

Deputy for Events

  • Assist the VP of Events in planning, organizing, and executing SEN events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, speakers, and partners to ensure successful event execution.
  • Handle event logistics, including venue setup, equipment arrangements, and attendee registration.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and increase attendance.
  • Gather feedback post-event to continuously improve and refine event planning and execution.
  • Step in and lead event planning and execution in the absence of the VP of Events.

Deputy Technology Officer

  • Develops and maintains the SEN’s website, ensuring that the site works effectively in order to promote the SEN’s mission while showcasing events and initiatives.
  • Assists in aggregation, publication, and curation of all campus events that fall within the SEN’s mission statement and entrepreneurial scope.

Deputy Events Manager

  • Collaborates with the executive board to plan projects aligned with SEN’s mission and objectives
  • Develops and maintains close relationships with officers of related student Associations.
  • Creates project plans detailing scope, timeline, and required resources
  • Recruits and manages project teams, ensuring organization and motivation
  • Monitors and adjusts project progress to stay on track for time and budget
  • Identifies new project opportunities and provide suggestions during executive board meetings
