Executive Director of Sullivan Center for Entrepreneurship

As executive director of the Sullivan Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Rady School of Management, Tim Schwartz provides guidance and oversight for the center’s programs for innovation leadership and entrepreneurship across UC San Diego. He collaborates with colleagues at the Rady School and across the campus to provide students access to multidisciplinary training, experiential programs and venture creation accelerators. He facilitates entrepreneurship by connecting students to practice-based learning opportunities such as working in community startups and UC San Diego projects.

Director of Student Entrepreneurship & The Basement

As Director of Student Entrepreneurship at UC San Diego, Jacques Chirazi oversees The Basement’s programs supporting innovation, leadership, and venture creation across campus. He manages grants, builds partnerships, and develops hands-on entrepreneurship programming that helps students transform ideas into market-ready solutions. With a background in sustainability, biomimicry, and design thinking, Jacques integrates a nature-inspired approach to foster the next generation of impact-driven entrepreneurs.
